Ahoy! My name is Absurd Pirate, but you can just call me Pirate. I joined the IndieWeb space about a year ago and have enjoyed it ever since.

I love the Indieweb space because it's not so corporatized and not so heavily monetized. It feels like people can actually be themselves here.

I am a dumbphone user, I have no social media (unless you count Discord), and I collect physical media

What I Do in my Free Time:
You can catch me playing video games (mostly on my Xbox 360, OGX, or PC), playing/listening to music, chatting online with friends.

I've met some really cool people on here, thank in large part to being on Bear and joining the Grizzly Gazette Discord Server.

A lot of them are from Europe, but I hope one day I'll get to meet them. I would consider them my friends despite never seeing half their faces.
